CHELTENHAM NANNIES was established as a fully licensed Nanny Agency in May 1994 though the licensed system was axed by the govt. the following year.Our MD, Lynne Shrubb started this agency when her youngest child was just a few months old. He is now 10.
Lynne developed CHELTENHAM NANNIES to be a business that is proactive and professional, believing that placements should be win-win situations for both employee and employer.
Parents new to childcare, often need help to develop a workable solution to their child caring needs. This guidance is provided by our Home Consultancy service. Through listening carefully to each family's unique set of needs our Consultant can recommend a childcare route that will be particularly suitable. There is no obligation to choose the Nanny option.
To facilitate the ongoing employment process, we provide you with a model employment contract, a job description outline together with other useful tools designed to facilitate good communications throughout the placement. By providing a caring and informative service we hope your children have a much higher chance of receiving consistent & quality care.
We endeavour to ensure that candidates offered for consideration meet the criteria set by the Parents for experience and/or qualifications. We have a rigorous interviewing & vetting procedure and every candidate accepting a placement through us must hold or be prepared to apply through us for an enhanced CRB disclosure.
