FEES
     
1)  Post registration fee: £40
this fee is due each time a post is registered with Cheltenham Nannies    
 
2)  Nanny employment consultancy:   £160

This is a pre-requisite service for careful parents who wish to learn the critical aspects of choosing & employing a nanny because a successful outcome & the welfare of their child/ren is their highest priority. One of our knowledgeable & experienced Consultants will visit you in your home in order to :
1) answer your questions and to explain how the employment process works.
2) help you to define the specific job requirements and applicant skills.
3) inform you of best practise, industry norms and discuss financial aspects.
4) provide you with our essential Employment Information Pack containing support information for each step of the employment process including: what our candidates will offer, how to structure the interview and the questions to ask, what a nanny is looking for, nanny pay bands, net to gross wage chart, essential employment documents such as Nanny Employment Contract, money saving ideas & top employer tips.

   
 
3)  Placement support consultancy   £60

this is an optional service designed to support the client through initial placement period and includes a home visit from a CN consultant to discuss: salary negotiation, payrole set-up, practical aspects of nanny management, plus 6 mths. help desk support.

   
 
4)  UK permanent placement fee:   6% (min. £600)
percentage of gross annual salary.
     
5)  Non-UK permanent placements:   10% (min. £1000)
percentage of gross annual salary.    
 
6)  Norlander surcharge:   25% (min. £800)
     
7) Temporary staff:   £50 per week
note: minimum period 2 weeks.    
     
8) Maternity nurses and proxy parents:   £70 per week
note: minimum period 2 weeks.    
     
9) Emergency service:   £50
chargeable when we provide staff who commence employment within 10 working days.    
     
10) Interview & vetting for non-Cheltenham Nannies candidate:   £200
includes registration & home consultancy.

Terms and Conditions (ToC) of Business (Ref: 607071)
We provide separate Temporary Terms & Conditions where Clients require temporary worker/s and payroll service combined.
 

1) Cheltenham Nannies Limited (hereinafter known as the Agency) is at no time or to be considered the employer of the temporary or permanent staff offered. Therefore as the employer (hereafter known as the Client) is responsible for deducting & paying to the Inland Revenue any stoppages due & paying the applicant a net wage unless the applicant has self employed status and for obtaining any work permits or for the arrangement of any medical examinations or investigations into the medical history of the applicant.

2) Any business undertaken by the Agency is, save as varied in writing between the two parties, subject to our ToC set out herein & the engagement of any applicant offered by the Agency will be deemed as acceptance by the Client of these ToC.

3a) Reductions or refunds are at the sole discretion of the Agency and refunds will only be made if the Client has conducted business with the Agency according to these ToC.
3b) Where our permanent positions are concerned, full refund of our placement fee may be made less administration fee of £100 may be made if an applicant, through his/her own reasons, fails to start employment after accepting the position. No refund will be made and full placement fee is due to the Agency if the Client cancels a job offer after acceptance by the applicant (verbally or otherwise) and notice has been given.
3c) Where a Client cancels after job offer is accepted and before permanent placement commences and no notice is being worked the following charges apply: (i) up to 7 days from start date: £150 ii) within 7 days of start date: £200.
3d) Included in the Agency's permanent placement service is an eight week staff replacement or refund policy whereby if any applicant offered by the Agency leaves permanent employment within 8 weeks of their start date the Agency will offer a replacement free of fees or if no suitable replacement is available/acceptable, providing the Client has not withdrawn the position, a full refund of our placement fee will may be made less an administration fee of £100 and 1/8th of the remaining fee for each full or part-week worked plus a £15 fee per further candidate interviewed.
3e) Registration and consultancy fees are due when registration form is submitted and the consultancy is booked. Payment terms for permanent placement fees are 14 days from invoice date, or sooner depending on start date, and receipt of which confirm arrangements. Delay will result in a 20% surcharge post deadline and prior to placement date. If payment remain outstanding post placement, then temporary fees will be charged for each week or part week the candidate is employed, over and above the permanent fees, and until all outstanding monies have been paid in full.
3f) Temporary fees will, save the first week, only be refunded if the Agency is unable to provide a suitable applicant to match the Client written requirements. No alterations can be accepted to confirmed temporary assignments when this takes place within 14 days of commencement of temporary placement. When Client cancels temp assignment more than 14 days prior to assignment date having previously accepted a temp, then agency will charge a cancellation fee equivalent to one weeks temporary fee for every month booked. Where temporary fees are overdue, the Client will be liable for a 20% payment surcharge for each week or part week fees remain overdue and ongoing temporary service may be interrupted. Consultancy fees are due before or on day of consultancy.

4) The Agency cannot and does not accept any responsibility for the actions or defaults of any applicant introduced or employee of the Agency, nor any claim, expenses, liabilities or damages to the Client or his/her property resulting directly or indirectly from any default, negligence or other act of any persons introduced by or employed by the Agency.

5a) Any information passing between the Client and the Agency is to be treated as confidential and must not be passed on to 3rd. parties including current employers of an applicant. If as a result of this an applicant is engaged or dismissed the Client will be charged the full standard placement fee.
5b) The Client must notify the Agency immediately upon engaging an applicant introduced by or through the Agency. If the Client fails to comply the Agency shall be entitled to render to the Client an invoice for the placement fee for immediate payment.

6a) The Client is responsible for reimbursing to the applicant or temporary employee including:
6b) any reasonable travel expenses incurred in travelling to interview after interview is completed or to and from any employment (minimum £4 per day) in connection with the position.
6c) gross wage less stoppages as agreed per hour for any trial or temporary session worked. All staff are the employees of the Client, unless agreed otherwise with the Agency, and temporary staff must be paid a net figure at the end of each session or working week and permanent staff must be paid promptly at the end of each week or month of employment, as agreed in contract. Temporary staff will be paid in cash unless they agree otherwise.

7) The Agency endeavours to ensure but does not guarantee the suitability of any applicant introduced to the Client. The Client shall therefore satisfy himself as to the applicants suitability, qualifications, capability and integrity and check any references whether provided by the Agency or not before engaging the applicant.

8) Where the Agency has provided written details of an applicant & a subsequent placement results involving the same applicant being offered through a competitor, the Client will be charged 50% of our standard fee. A Client who places a position with the Agency, and who then engages privately an Applicant who has been actively searching for work through the Agency will be charged the full fee.

9) The Client must check with the Agency to ascertain that all work and/or qualification checks have been undertaken to a satisfactory conclusion before starting an applicant offered.

10) Our permanent fees are based on a percentage of the candidates gross annual salary. Should this gross annual salary have increased by more than 20% during the first year of placement, we retain the right to invoice the Client for 5% of the difference between the starting and end of year salary.

11) English Law: These terms are subject to English Law and Clients are under an obligation by that law to agree with their permanent staff a contract of employment which makes clear all the terms of said employment. The Agency holds the client responsible for providing a clear and full job description to staff offered which will form the basis of an employment contract to be agreed and signed by both parties before employment commences.
